Transition Class - to college or trade school

Already have your GED® diploma and ready to move into the workforce or higher education?

Transitioning services are available for existing learners who are moving into post-secondary education and/or training. Instruction focuses on advanced writing, math, and technology. Included are exploring local resources, completing admission and financial aid packets. Academic or vocational counseling is available by appointment. Call our office for a current schedule.

Classes are offered at various locations and times. All adults are welcome. You must be 16 years of age or older and fully withdrawn from school to participate.

Fast-Track GED®

Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 9 am until Noon at the Learning Center site at the PA CareerLink®. Prepare for all five parts of the GED® test. Take an official GED® Practice Test. Classroom instruction links to jobs and job preparation.

Classes are offered Monday through Thursday at the Ben Franklin Early Learning Center from 9 am until Noon. After raising scores, learners move on to the GED® class.

This class is designed for learners who have passed at least three parts of their GED® test. The class runs for no more than three weeks, five days per week for three hours. This class will be offered several times this year. Call for class dates.

Our evening GED® class runs for 10 week cycles in Ellwood City and New Castle. Location and times will be announced.
